What you will do:

• Conduct forensic medical examinations, collecting evidence, assessing injuries, and offering comprehensive medical care, such as STI testing, pregnancy prevention, and post-exposure prophylaxis.
• Provide immediate clinical care and emotional support to victims, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Document findings meticulously and prepare reports for legal proceedings, including testifying in court when necessary.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including police, social services, and other healthcare professionals, to deliver a coordinated response to sexual assault cases.
• Offer training and mentorship to junior staff and trainees, contributing to the development and strength of our forensic nursing team.
