You’ll be working within a supportive environment led by a highly experienced Practice Supervisor and Service Lead, alongside committed permanent staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake Children and Families Assessments (CA 89), evaluating risk and support needs.

Develop and implement Child in Need and Child Protection plans, chairing key meetings.

Conduct assessments for and coordinate short break services for children with disabilities.

Engage with children who may have communication difficulties, ensuring their voices are heard.

Manage Children in Care cases, maintaining and reviewing care plans.

Undertake court work and provide robust Transition Plans for young people moving into adult services.

Ensure statutory Children’s Social Care requirements are met, including a strong understanding of EHCPs and SEND.

Maintain a regular office presence (2–3 days/week) to fulfil statutory and collaborative functions.
