Main Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Manage and support a team of social workers and personal advisors within the 16+ service, ensuring high standards of care and professional practice.

Case Oversight: Lead the development and monitoring of care and permanency plans, particularly for young people in long-term foster care or those with adoption goals.

Inter-agency Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, partner agencies, and service providers to deliver cohesive support and improve outcomes.

Strategic Improvement: Develop and implement service delivery strategies in line with statutory duties, inspection frameworks, and best practice models.

Staff Development: Provide supervision, mentorship, and performance oversight, creating a supportive environment for team growth and retention.
