We are on the lookout for a skilled Children’s Senior Social Worker to join our dynamic Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub in Lewisham. This ongoing locum position offers a compelling hourly rate of £40.11. Based at the ever-accessible Laurence House in Catford, you’ll enjoy hybrid working arrangements with the opportunity to split your time between the office and the community. Just two stops from London Bridge and a quick 3-minute walk from Catford and Catford Bridge stations, Laurence House is a convenient location whether you’re coming by public transport or the M25, with subsidised parking available.

What you will do:

• Collaborate with multi-agency teams to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
• Conduct assessments and develop personalised safeguarding plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with statutory requirements.
• Support families and children through complex safeguarding processes.
• Attend and participate in case review meetings, demonstrating strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Please note: All Qualified Social Workers must have 5 years post-qualified experience to be considered. Any CVs submitted without the cover sheet will be rejected. Enhanced DBS with Barred List is required.
