Locum Social Worker – Children Looked After Team in Devon – Earn £38 Hourly

What you will do:
– Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, young people, and their families to achieve safety and stability
– Deliver high-quality assessments ensuring no drift or delay for families and improved outcomes for children and young people
– Demonstrate high standards of professional social work practice within a high-pressure environment
– Collaborate effectively within multi-agency and court settings to support our comprehensive care approach
– Travel as necessary to meet service needs while discussing home-working options during the interview
Your skills and experience:
– Hold a social work qualification with registration from Social Work England and satisfactory completion of your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE)
– Experience in a social care environment, including multi-agency and court collaborations
– Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey crucial information effectively
– Solid knowledge of legislation, models, and theories relevant to children’s social work
– A valid UK driving license with access to a car is necessary for covering allocations and visiting children as needed
