We are looking for a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join our dedicated Children in Care Team in St Austell, Mid Cornwall, earning an impressive £38 hourly. This full-time locum position is ongoing and presents a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of children and young people under the care of Cornwall Council’s Children and Family Services.

What you will do:

• – Undertake statutory reviews and visits to ensure the welfare of children in care
• – Support placements and facilitate contacts, working effectively with parents and carers
• – Engage in court work, assessing and managing risks to secure positive outcomes for children and families
• – Collaborate with various agencies to support the holistic development and safety of the children
• – Maintain clear and detailed records of all activities and decisions
