Team/Specialism: Duty & Assessment

Salary: £39,961 – £41,949 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full-time

Duties:

  • Be part of a MASH Pod of three decision makers (senior social workers), and four MASH officers
  • Provide high quality case work decisions and operational supervision for referral information, making informed decisions in respect of safety of children within 24 hours of the referral
  • Work collaboratively with our MASH partners and the child’s voice will be evident through your work

Requirements of the Social Worker:

  • Be a qualified Social Worker, with Social Work England registration, and have proven experience of working in a ‘Front Door’ service
  • Be committed to driving improved services forward, and deliver positive outcomes for our children, young people and families in collaboration with external partners
  • The ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for the role
  • Enhanced DBS clearance and SWE registration required
