Global Healthcare Jobs, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for an Registered Manager within the Fostering Team to work full time based in Ilford.

The salary for this permanent Registered Manager job is up to £50,000 annum.

Main duties:

  • Monitoring and maintaining full compliance with regulations and standards to ensure excellent outcomes for children and young people and excellent audits from the regulatory bodies.
  • Ensuring any matters concerning safeguarding are dealt with in accord with government guidelines and company policy.
  • To contribute to the development of a therapeutic fostering service.
  • To assist in the development of the annual development plans for foster carers and staff.
  • To lead and supervise a team of Senior Practitioners, Social Workers, and Student Social Workers.
  • To ensure all schedule 6’s are recorded and quarterly reports are prepared.
  • To manage the Quality Audit the processes of all social work related aspects of the social work team.
  • Investigate substantial complaints and allegations.
  • Responsible for foster carers annual reviews and ensure that they are presented to panel on time.
  • To ensure that all Social Worker’s records and reports are up-to-date and that all staff are using charms to record information.
  • To be part of strategic development plan and assist in growth targets for the recruitment of foster carers.
  • Ensures that within the region there is provision of 24 hour professional support for foster carers and that an effective out of hours placement service is available for customers.
  • Ensures effective client management and maintains external market awareness.
  • Assist in the completion of contracts and to be part of the necessary contracting process.
  • To be a super user for the CHARMS computer system.
  • To contribute to the production of agency policies and procedures.

Requirements of this Registered Manager job:

  • A social Work Qualification or equivalent.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation.
  • Continual professional development.
  • Social Work England registered.
