Global Healthcare Jobs, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Senior Care Officer to work full time based in a Children’s home in the Birmingham and Solihull area.

The salary for this permanent Senior Care Officer job is £26,000.

Main Duties:

  • Responsible for day-to-day duties within the home and the care and support of the residents
  • Implementing and following the home’s operational policies and care practice standards
  • Providing care within a warm and supportive atmosphere
  • Implementing individual care plans to ensure the welfare of each individual resident
  • Offering support and guidance to bank staff and volunteers
  • Supporting the Managers of the home

Requirements of this job:

  • Level 3 or 4 Residential Childcare qualification or equivalent, or willingness to undertake this
  • A minimum of 1 year’s experience working within Children’s residential care with challenging behaviours
