Job Description
Global Healthcare Jobs, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Senior Care Officer to work full time based in a Children’s home in the Birmingham and Solihull area.
The salary for this permanent Senior Care Officer job is £26,000.
Main Duties:
- Responsible for day-to-day duties within the home and the care and support of the residents
- Implementing and following the home’s operational policies and care practice standards
- Providing care within a warm and supportive atmosphere
- Implementing individual care plans to ensure the welfare of each individual resident
- Offering support and guidance to bank staff and volunteers
- Supporting the Managers of the home
Requirements of this job:
- Level 3 or 4 Residential Childcare qualification or equivalent, or willingness to undertake this
- A minimum of 1 year’s experience working within Children’s residential care with challenging behaviours
