Global Healthcare Jobs, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Registered Manager to work full time based in a Children’s home in Earley, Reading.
The salary for this permanent Registered Manager job is up to £60,000
Main Duties:
- To enrich the lives of children in our care, helping them create a brighter future in a safe, homely, fun, and nurturing environment
- To effectively manage all aspects of the provision within the nominated setting
- To ensure effective consultation with children, staff, and all other stakeholders to support the development and maintenance of a safe and nurturing culture in line with the organisational core values and regulatory requirements
- To fully understand and to comply with, local and organisational procedures for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults
- To be a positive leader and role model, to portray a professional image and build positive relationships with all children and anyone connected with Storyy Group
- To ensure that all matters relating to child protection are managed in line with current legislation, national standards, and best safeguarding practice
- Ensure full compliance with the Children Homes Regulations and Quality Standards (2015), and compliance with any other regulatory expectations, being mindful of the content of the Social Care Common Inspection Framework (SSCIF)
Requirements of this job:
- Level 5 Diploma – Leadership and management in Children and Young People’s residential services or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience working within Children’s residential care
- Ability to show leadership skills
- Experience of managing budgets
- Proven history of working in an Ofsted regulated residential childrens home and delivering either Good or Outstanding results
