Location: Queen’s Hospital, Barking
Contract Type:Locum ongoing contract
Dietitian Pay Rate: £27 per hour (assignment rate)

Duties of the Dietitian:
- To deliver a high quality, evidence based Nutrition and Dietetic service to inpatients and outpatients for Barking Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust (BHRUT).
- To be responsible for providing specialist nutritional care for a defined area; including assessment, dietary therapy and monitoring to patients and their carers. The defined area includes but is not limited to oncology (both inpatients and outpatients) and respiratory.
- To act as a source of dietary expertise for colleagues and other health care professionals across the organisation.
- To work as integral part of the Dietetic team in ensuring that the service is fully covered over the periods of leave
- To contribute to the Trust clinical governance programme by participating in audits, development and implementation of evidence based guidelines/protocols/policies and continuing professional development
Requirements of the Dietitian:
- Degree or equivalent in dietetics
- Recent experience working as an Dietitian
- Registered with the HCPC to work in the UK
