Contract Type: Agency/Locum (ongoing)

Pay Rate: £35 per hour (assignment rate)

Duties:

  • Assess and provide rehabilitation interventions, to help people at risk from harm or becoming dependent on others due to their sensory loss
  • Act as an advocate for people with sensory loss and the organisation to help promote accessible services, equality, social inclusion and understanding the impact of sight loss/dual sensory loss
  • Identify, deliver and evaluate professional rehabilitation interventions to people with vision loss or dual sensory loss to enhance their skills and confidence to maximise their independence

Requirements of the Rehab Officer:

  • Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy
  • Recent UK experience within Rehabilitation
  • Registered with the HCPC 
  • NHS experience would be advantageous but not essential
  • Car driver

We welcome applications from physiotherapists and physio assistants (Band 3, Band 4, Band 5, Band 6, Band 7, and above!) within different physio services as we have other roles available within the NHS and private sectors.
