Global Healthcare Jobs, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency looking for a Band 7 Specialist Community Podiatrist to work for the NHS based in Merton.
Location: Merton
Contract Type: Locum ongoing – (Full-time, part-time will be considered)
Pay Rate: £31 per hour

Duties of the Podiatrist
- Provide assessment, diagnosis and implementation of individual treatment plans for patients
- Provide specialist podiatry input to all patients that fall within their specialist field of expertise
- Actively promoting self-management on all activities of daily living
Requirements of the Podiatrist
- Qualified podiatrist i.e. Degree or equivalent within Podiatry
- Recent experience within podiatry
- Registered with the HCPC as a podiatrist to work in the UK
- NHS experience would be advantageous but not essential
- Expertise in high-risk foot care, including the management of complex foot conditions and ulcerations
- Proficiency in wound care, with experience in assessing and treating various types of foot ulcers
- Strong knowledge and experience in biomechanics and musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions
- Ideally in possession of a valid driver’s licence and a car for domiciliary visits, enabling them to provide care to patients in their own homes if required
