Location: Wetherby

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday (9AM – 5PM)

Type of Contract: Locum, 3-Months

Hourly Rate: £25.78 per hour (assignment rate)

Requirements of the Prison RMN/Nurse:

• Relevant nursing qualification and an active NMC Registration (Mental Health)
• Must have Prison Clearance and experience working within a prison
• Knowledge in therapeutic interventions such as CBT or Steps to Wellbeing is desirable but transferable clinical skills will be considered with appropriate training provided

Duties:

• As a Registered Nurse (RMN) you will be an integral part of the healthcare team and will be involved in everything from clinical triage to the evaluation of patient care and standards
• You’ll carry out – and potentially develop – nurse-led clinics, review patients’ histories, undertake relevant examinations and tests, organise any necessary treatment, and refer patients to other healthcare professionals when you need to
• You will also be working as part of a larger multi-disciplinary team, alongside the substance misuse and mental health teams. You will have an interest in Substance Misuse and have had some exposure to this environment
