What are we looking for?

A healthcare organisation in London, working in partnership with Global Healthcare Jobs, is seeking to recruit a Pharmacy Technician to join their Pharmacy team.

This is a Monday to Sunday role, covering a 24/7 working rota with the following shift patterns:

Day Services: 07:00-19:00 (3-4 shifts per week)
Night Services: 19:00-07:00 (3-4 shifts per week)

What will your duties include?

  • Maintain and develop high-quality, patient-focused pharmacy services in conjunction with clinical and patient services staff.
  • Efficiently manage the dispensary, assisting senior technicians or pharmacists when necessary.
  • Prepare prescriptions accurately according to standard operating procedures (SOP) using the pharmacy computer system.
  • Ensure timely supply of medication to patients, delegating when required.
  • Provide counseling and guidance to patients on medication usage.

What do we need from you?

  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with appropriate accreditation.
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Pharmaceutical Services or similar qualification.
  • Mandatory CPD to maintain professional fitness.
  • Prior experience in a bustling dispensary department.
  • Previous involvement in hospital pharmacy services.
