Global Healthcare Jobs, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency looking for an experienced and dedicated Community Mental Health Nurse to take on a new ongoing contract role.
Community Mental Health Nurse Pay Rate: £28 per hour (assignment rate)
Location: Sutton
Contract Type: 3 months

Duties of the Community Mental Health Nurse:
- To develop and implement individualized care plans based on patients’ needs, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team. This may involve planning therapeutic interventions, medication management, and support strategies
- To administer and monitor medication regimens for patients, ensuring compliance and assessing for any adverse effects or interactions
- To conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ mental health needs, including psychiatric evaluations, risk assessments, and formulation of care plans
- To Provide crisis intervention services for patients experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms or mental health emergencies. This includes assessing risk, de-escalation techniques, and coordinating appropriate interventions
Requirements of the Community Mental Health Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
- Experience working as a Community Psychiatric Nurse
- NMC Registration
