Mental Health Nurse Pay Rate: £35 per hour (assignment rate)
Location: Surrey
Contract Type: 3 Months, Full-Time

Duties of the Mental Health Nurse:
- Work within the Access and Advice Team, the main point of entry for many services offered by Mindworks Surrey. Mindworks Surrey is an alliance partnership of NHS, voluntary and third sector providers of emotional wellbeing and mental health services for children and young people in Surrey.
- Provide clinical screening and triage of requests for support as part of the whole system of emotional wellbeing and mental health services within the ITHRIVE framework.
- Lead on clinically challenging and complex cases as appropriate, being confident in my ability to communicate and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Support the growth and development of other members of the team whilst supporting the General Manager and wider Trust to achieve an exemplary service underpinning our visions and values.
Requirements of the Mental Health Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
- Experience working as a Registered Mental Health Nurse
- NMC Registration
- Experience working in an NHS setting
- Previous leadership or mentorship experience.
- Proven track record of building positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Proven ability to provide training and education regarding emotional wellbeing, mental health and complex clinical topics
- Demonstrable experience of working with CYP with a variety of mental health issues for at least 5 years and or can demonstrate transferrable skills form another client group
