Global Healthcare Jobs, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for an Assistant Service Manager to work full time based in Epping.
The salary for this permanent job is up to £26,025 p.a.

This role is a GREAT location for anyone in London or Essex surrounds who are looking to commute into a lively small town with a tube station just near the service! The house is within walking distance of Epping Forrest and Epping Town center.
Tidy’s Lane is home to two people who each have a learning disability. The service specialises in supporting 2 very independent individuals with Autism and Mental health diagnosis. Each of the current people supported has 24-hour 1-1 support funded. Both tenants have their own mobility vehicle, and the successful candidate will ideally need to be able to drive to support them with community activities.
This is a hands-on role, and the successful candidate will work 80% + of the time in the service providing support to the two individuals who live there as well as providing practice leadership to the staff member that they are working alongside; the staff are very friendly, and you will be welcomed as their lead.

The ideal Assistant Service Manager looks like this!
- Work with your Service Manager to manage and lead a successful and positive team.
- Understands the balance between keeping our people safe and positive risk taking.
- Have a good understanding of the social care sector and how these benefits and impacts the people we support.
- Stay up to date with policies and procedures to carry out and maintain safe and best practices.
- Support the Service Manager to recruit new employees and develop and manage your staff team in a fair and consistent manner.
- Work with your Service Manager to reinforce a positive culture of continuous improvement.
- Act as the Service Manager in their absence.
- To be flexible and be able to work shifts required: bank holidays, 7am – 2:30pm and 2pm – 9:30pm, no night shifts required. These hours may occasionally need to be extended to provide 1-1 support and guidance to Support Staff on duty as required and this may involve working past 21.30 to do night staff supervision.
