Global Healthcare Jobs, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for an Assistant Service Manager to work up to full time based in Margate, Kent.
The salary for this permanent job is up to £27,154 FIXED TERM 12 months

They are seeking a new Assistant Service Manager to join the team at Westbrook Avenue, Margate for a fixed term 12 month maternity cover.
You will have the amazing opportunity to make a wonderful impact on people’s lives and supporting the Service Manager to build and lead a great team, receiving full support from the beginning of your journey with us.
Within Westbrook there are 3 service users who have complex needs. In addition all service users have mobility issues, use wheel chairs and require 2:1 support with overhead hoists for all transfers. All 3 have profound learning disabilities. They all require support with communication in their own format. They all require high personal care support. In addition they require support with eating and drinking, one of whom is supported by the SALT team regarding Dysphagia, and one who has a PEG in situ.

Our ideal Assistant Service Manager looks like this!
- Work with your Service Manager to manage and lead a successful and positive team
- Understands the balance between keeping our people safe and positive risk taking
- Have a good understanding of the social care sector and how this benefits and impacts the people we support
- Stay up to date with policies and procedures to carry out and maintain safe and best practices
- Support the Service Manager to recruit new employees and develop and manage your staff team in a fair and consistent manner
- Work with your Service Manager to reinforce a positive culture of continuous improvement
- Act as the Service Manager in their absence
