Global Healthcare Jobs, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a TEAM LEADER – Adult Community Services to work full time based in a in Guernsey.

The salary for this permanent job is up to £39,560

The Provider is seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader to join the Adult Disability Service that provides support for individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism. As a Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality care, support, and guidance to service users and staff, ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary resources to deliver effective services.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, support and guide a team of support staff.

• Oversee all aspects of service provision including personal care, daily living tasks, and promoting independent living.

• Ensure that service users are empowered to participate in all activities.

• Contribute to the development and review of care plans.

• Coordinate and lead staff meetings, supervision, and training.

• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care.

• Experience in a supervisory role.

• Knowledge of the Active Support Model and Person Centred Planning.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work flexible hours and participate in an on-call rota.
