Global Healthcare Jobs, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for an Advanced Practitioner within the Contextual Safeguarding Team to work full time based in Hillingdon.

The salary for this permanent Advanced Practitioner job is up to £54,129 per annum.

Main duties:

  • To be responsible for the selection, development and performance of the AXIS and Government funded prevention programmes in line with the HR policies.
  • To ensure all team members receive the appropriate level of communication to maintain engagement with the Council’s vision, priorities, and activities.
  • To work closely and creatively with the partner agencies and community groups to ensure effective intervention programmes are delivered to children and young people.
  • To provide and facilitate regular 1-1 and group supervision in order to ensure good practice and to share knowledge and expertise which will enhance service delivery and improve outcomes for young people.
  • To demonstrate understanding of the Council’s Customer Care Standards and ensure that these standards are met in order to deliver the council vision of ‘putting our residents first’.
  • Provide expert professional and technical advice to other staff, managers, colleagues, and partners.
  • To manage workload systems to ensure resources address priority cases and respond to changing needs and circumstances, ensuring staff workloads are suited to their training and experience.
  • To produce management information and analysis which can be presented to a range of audiences.
  • Establish network of internal and external colleagues to support effective practice.
  • Provide professional leadership to colleagues through demonstrating exemplary practice, sharing knowledge and positively managing the interface between practice and education/training.
  • Act as organisational expert in role specialism, providing advice and support to other colleagues and partners.
  • Provide professional consultation to all teams within the directorate and other agencies, ensuring effective and efficient practice and procedures are in place.
  • To take responsibility for the effective management of the allocated department/team budget.
  • To ensure that all workforce expenditure is compliant with corporate guidance and that any temporary resource is purchased through the Council’s agency contracts.
  • Complete other reasonable tasks in order to fulfil role purpose or as required by management.

Requirements of this role:

  • A Social Work Qualification or equivalent.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation.
  • Registered or eligible for registration.
