Global Healthcare Jobs is currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to take on a new ongoing contract role within the Early Intervention Team.
Location: Ashton-under-Lyne
Pay Rate: £26 per hour (assignment rate)
Contract Type: Locum, 3-month contract
Shift Pattern: core hours are 09:00 am – 17:00 pm, Monday – Friday, although flexibility around start & finish times is available. E.g., 08:00 am – 18:00 pm, 08:00 am – 16:00 pm, 09:00 am – 18:00 pm etc. Part time considered.
Duties:
- Provide care coordination (case management) to an identified group of patients open to the team- patients identified as being in the early phase of a psychotic illness
- The assessment of needs and delivery of interventions in line with currently identified best practice; risk assessment and management and safeguarding where appropriate
Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
- NMC Registration
- Experience working with clients with serious mental illness together with knowledge and skills in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the care of clients with serious mental illness
