Contract Type: Locum, Ongoing and full-time
Pay Rate: £25-27 per hour

Duties of the Physiotherapist
- Provide a rapid response, senior occupational therapy/physiotherapy assessment and treatment of complex patients within A&E, ACU, acute wards and patients referred from the community in order to prevent admission to hospital and promote early discharge
- Provide supervision and appraisal to Band 5 Occupational Therapist or band 5 Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy students on placement (as required)
- Participate in on-going service development within IIT in relation to Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy practice and within Therapy Services
- The post holder will undertake patient / client home visits independently or with other health professionals to assess for the risks relating to safe discharge home, provision of therapy intervention and suitability of the property for independent or supported living.
Requirements of the Physiotherapist
- Qualified physiotherapist i.e. Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy
- Recent experience within physiotherapy
- Registered with the HCPC as a physiotherapist to work in the UK
- NHS experience would be advantageous but not essential
