Children’s Assessment Social Worker

Global Healthcare Jobs, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency has an exciting Locum opportunity available for an experienced Children’s Assessment Social Worker to join a well-established Children’s service based in Gloucester. Home working opportunities are available but there is a need to be flexible and it is subject to review to ensure that we continue to meet the needs of the service. The candidate will be provided with a laptop and smart phone to assist with this. All children are to be seen face to face unless you have COVID confirmed.

Pay Rate: £43 per hour (assignment rate)

Contract: Locum, 3-Months

Hours: Full-time

Requirements of the Children’s Assessment Social Worker:

• Degree or equivalent in social work
• Current Social Work England registration
• An experienced Social Worker to work in our Assessment Team, where they will hold a caseload of around 18 children and provide an effective, evidence-based intervention with consideration of timeliness and impact
