Global Healthcare Jobs, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a House Manager to work full-time based in a Children and Young People’s home, based in Kirklington, Newark.
The salary for this permanent Team Leader job is up to £31,157 per annum.
Main Duties:
- Running the home of a day-to-day basis
- Provide a stimulating environment, docuvice the the education, personal and soicla development of the children as outlined in their EHCP
- Key worker for a child or small group of children
- Offering appropriate levels of support, guidance and care
- Maintain regular contact with the parents or carers of our children and young people
- Ensure effective leadership of the house and residential community
- To lead and manage the team of support workers, providing guidance, supervision, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to the children and young people
- To work collaboratively with the registered manager and other professionals to ensure that the needs of the children and young people are met
- To be responsible for the management of the home in the absence of the registered manager
- To be a positive role model to the children and young people, promoting their independence, social and emotional development, and well-being
Requirements of this job:
- Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working within Children’s residential care
- Ability to show leadership skills
- Understanding of the regulatory and legislative requirements of the residential care sector
- Willingness to undertake further training and development as required
