Global Healthcare Jobs, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Registered Manager to work full time based in a Children’s Home in Liverpool.
The salary for this permanent Registered Manager job is up to £45,000.
Main Duties:
- Accountable for delivering high-quality care to young people in the home
- Ensure effective implementation of relevant regulations and standards
- Manage child protection matters in accordance with legislation and best safeguarding practices
- Maintain the highest possible standards of childcare and implement placement plans
- Coordinate and access appropriate services to meet the needs of each young person
- Provide leadership and coaching to achieve the best outcomes for young people
- Mentor and support staff in childcare practices and independent living skills
- Manage the home effectively and efficiently within the agreed budget
- Supervise and support the staff group, ensuring they meet the specific needs of young people
- Develop individual staff training programs and complete performance appraisals
Requirements of this job:
- Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare qualification or equivalent, or willingness to undertake this
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience working within Children’s residential care
- Ability to show leadership skills
- Experience of managing budgets
- Direct involvement in Ofsted inspections
