Children’s Permanency Social Worker

Global Healthcare Jobs, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency has an exciting Locum opportunity available for an experienced Children’s Permanency Social Worker to join a well-established Children’s service based in Gloucester. 

Team/Specialism: Children’s Permanency

Pay Rate: £41 per hour (assignment rate)

Contract: Locum, 3-Months

Hours: The role is full time where home working opportunities are available with the expectation that workers will come into the office once per week and visit people to undertake the work when needed. This is subject to change and the candidate should be flexible to meet the Teams’ needs.

Requirements of the Children’s Permanency Social Worker:

• Degree or equivalent in social work
• Current Social Work England registration
• Post qualifying experience or are skilled at writing CPR’s under supervision
• Have knowledge and practice of working with children in care and considering their needs fully, a good understanding of family finding and matching with adopters, including completion of relevant Court reports and support plans
