Dietitian Pay Rate: £20 per hour (assignment rate)

Duties of the Dietitian:
- Work within a team of community dietitians, as part of the integrated DANS, to provide comprehensive nutrition and dietetic serviceto service users, health care professionals and the public, with the aim of promoting evidence based practice and improving the quality and outcomes of clinical care for patients.
- Support service-users in a variety of settings including community clinics, community rehabilitation units, residential care settings, and service-users’ own homes, utilising the British Dietetics Association (BDA) nutrition care process.
- Help the INTs and other specialist community services with caseload management in relation to malnutrition, and nutrition and dietetic considerations. Date agreed complete to be added in here and Version number
- Support the provision of advice and guidance to health care professionals in relation to nutrition and dietetics within the scope of the DANS clinical pathways.
- Deliver education and training on nutrition-related topics (in particular malnutrition, nutrition and hydration, and type 2 diabetes) to a range of service-users and health care professionals.
Requirements of the Dietitian:
- Degree or equivalent in dietetics
- Recent experience working as an Dietitian
- Registered with the HCPC to work in the UK
