Global Healthcare Jobs, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Health Visitor to work in Guernsey on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week).
The salary for this permanent Health Visitor job is £43,954 – £59,343 per annum.
Duties:
- Have overall responsibility on a day-to-day basis for the management of a defined caseload, providing an up-to-date quality service to all clients
- Manage and prioritise a caseload
- Assess, plan and deliver a high quality Health Visiting Service
Requirements of the Health Visitor:
- RGN, RHV, Diploma or BSc
- Be aware of the need to be vigilant to child protection issues and act accordingly
- Be aware of, and the need to comply with all Health and Social Care policies, procedures, guidelines, and to follow all Health Visiting standards and philosophies
- RN and Health Visiting Qualification, Diploma or Degree, plus continuing professional development
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent
- Nurse Prescribing Qualification
- Car driver with clean driving licence
