Global Healthcare Jobs, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency with an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Band 6 Paediatrics Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) to join a well-established Speech & Language Therapy team based in Stansted Mountfitchet. 

Specialism/Team: Paediatrics

Job Type & Hours: Locum, ongoing contract, part time or full time. Core service to be provided during school hours with flexible hours possible.

Pay Rate: £30 per hour (assignment rate)

Duties:

  • Work with early years and school aged children, in their educational settings, as part of our Special Educational Needs (SEND) Therapies team in West Essex
  • Work with educational professionals (SENCOs, LSAs and teachers) in setting goals and providing Therapy plans, to integrate within their daily curriculum, as specified in the child’s EHCP
  • Attending Annual Review meetings, updating reports, liaising with parents/carers and providing training, as appropriate

Requirements of the Paediatrics Speech and Language Therapist/SLT:

  • Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration
  • Experience of working with children with a range of special educational needs in their educational settings
  • Must be able to drive and have their own transport
