Global Healthcare Jobs is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to take on a new locum opportunity based in Cowley, within the Learning Disability CAMHS Team. 

Location: Cowley

Contract Type: Locum, 3-month contract

Pay Rate: £28 per hour (assignment rate)

Duties:

  • Provide a quality needs led service as part of the multi-disciplinary team, meeting young people and their families wherever is most appropriate
  • Embed and review the development of transitional, developing and existing care pathways
  • Develop care pathways and sign post young people and families to appropriate services
  • Provide assessment and intervention for children and young people experiencing mild moderate and/or severe learning disabilities combined with mental illness
  • Take part in the team’s first response rota
  • Provide consultation, advice, training and support to partnership agencies and members of the multidisciplinary team

Requirements of the Registered Mental Health Nurse:

  • Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
  • Proven experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse
  • Valid NMC Registration
