Location: Trowbridge
Contract Type: Agency/Locum (ongoing)
Pay Rate: £27 per hour (assignment rate)
Shift Pattern: Part time – 3 days per week between Monday – Friday, 08:30 am – 16:30 pm.

Duties:
- Provide highly specialist physiotherapy for children presenting with complex respiratory needs
- Provision and review of chest physiotherapy programmes
- Provide a source of expertise locally and regionally, providing education for parents/carers and community staff caring for these children
- Provide respiratory interveniton that will reduce hospital admissions as well as ensure faster discharge from hospital
- Work in close liaison with the acute settings in order to provide smooth transition of care between acute and community physio provision
- Provide a highly specialised service that includes the assessment, treatment and management of children with a wide range of medical conditions, presenting with complex respiratory needs
- Act as a source of expertise and demonstrate advanced knowledge and experience in the highly skilled management of children with these conditions
- Provide specialist advice to other members of the multi-disciplinary team and to provide clinical education and training to others
Requirements of the Respiratory Paediatric Physiotherapist:
- Qualified physiotherapist, i.e., Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy
- Recent UK experience within specialised physiotherapy
- Registered with the HCPC as a physiotherapist to work in the UK
- NHS experience would be advantageous but not essential
- Ideally would need a driving license and access to a car as is required to travel to Wiltshire wide
- Car driver
