Global Healthcare Jobs, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency looking for an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist to work in Chelsea on a full-time basis.
The salary for this permanent Occupational Therapist job is £55,000 per annum.
Duties:
- Working across our outpatient services, working with CAMHS and adults experiencing eating disorders
- Work with the adult anxiety and mood pathway and be flexible in terms of their engagement with different service pathways as the Clinic grows and develops
- Coaching work with adults with a diagnosis of ADHD and with parents of children affected by ADHD in a supportive role
- Manage a defined caseload using evidence based and client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate occupational therapy interventions
- Work across all outpatient services with the main focus being working with those patients with eating disorders and their families
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Understand and work within the variable nature of the job and respond in a professional manner
- Respect the individuality, values, cultural and religious diversity of patients
- Understand and exercise a personal duty of care for use of resources i.e. clinical and educational materials
- Dip COT/BSc OT/MSc OT
- BAOT Registration
- HCPC registration
- Evidence of CPD
- Previous work experience as an occupational therapist in mental health and/or CAMHS
- Experience of individual and group work
- Training/teaching skills
- Computer literacy
