Sanctuary Personnel, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency looking for an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist to take on a new locum role.
Location: Uxbridge, Greater London
Contract Type: Locum ongoing contract
Pay Rate: £30 – £35 per hour (assignment rate)

Main Duties:
- Work collaboratively to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for autistic children, young people and/or adults with associated needs such as ADHD, social communication difficulties, sensory processing needs and trauma.
- Implement a holistic, therapeutic approach to helping our children and young people in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and healthy.
- Carry out individual assessments and interventions, and preparing relevant documentation, including writing reports.
- Provide information and training to staff, commissioners and other agencies, as required.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
- Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience
- Registered with the HCPC
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
- Experience within the specialist client group. (complex communication issues relating to autism, including language disorder, sensory impairment, learning disabilities/difficulties and associated challenging behaviour)
- Experience of working within an educational setting would be advantageous
- Skills in co-working, liaison and consultation with others, especially with regard to highly complex cases
