Global Healthcare Jobs, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency with a TrustPilot score of 4.9/5 and over 500+ reviews is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist to work in East Midlands on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week).

The salary for this permanent Occupational Therapist job is £26,500 – £36,000 per annum.

Duties:

  • Support patients using evidence based and patient centric principals to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions, which provide patients with the confidence, skills and coping strategies required for independent living
  • Work alongside two Occupational Therapy Assistants and the wider therapy team, and have input into designing, adapting and implementing the therapeutic timetables on the wards, as well as conducting 1:1 assessments
  • Work as part of the MDT; comprised of psychiatrists, psychologists nurses and support workers; having input into ward round and care planning
  • Manage patients using evidence based and patient centric principals to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions, which provide patients with the confidence, skills and coping strategies required for independent living

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:

  • Willing to undertake a DBS check
  • Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registration
  • Previous Occupational Therapy experience
