GHJ, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for an Operations Manager to work full time for Keyline Care, based in Nottinghamshire.

The salary for this Operations Manager job is up to £50,000 per annum.

Main duties:

  • To monitor and support the delivery of person-centred services to all people using our service within your defined area.
  • To ensure that the actions of all staff directly supporting people using the service support their care, protection and wellbeing, and in compliance with external regulations, standards and monitoring bodies.
  • To provide supervision and support to Service Managers/Service Leads and/or Senior Support Workers through effective recruitment and selection, coaching and performance management as well as support to manage their team.
  • To develop own knowledge and practice relative to continuously promoting the development of all services under your responsibility and your own personal development.
  • Identify methods and systems to promote effective communication and engagement with individuals and key people, both internally and externally.
  • Monitor and report on compliance with health, safety and security regulations and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain effective systems and processes to promote the individuals choice about their care and support.
  • Monitor and report on service delivery taking into consideration that services are designed and reviewed to promote and maximize the achievement of the best possible outcomes for everyone.
  • Monitor and report on person-centred approaches/person-centred plans across area of responsibility.
  • Support the Service Managers/Service Leads to design and implement a service which addresses the needs of individuals experiencing significant life events.
  • Promote and monitor the people we support and their involvement across area of responsibility.
  • Ensure that all services delivered are compliant with the required external regulatory standards.
  • Continuously improve service performance across services for which you are responsible.
  • Supervise, mentor and act as a positive role model to Service Managers/Service Leads to ensure effective and efficient person-centred service delivery to all people who use the service.
  • Participate in rotational on-call system as assigned.

Requirements of this Operations Manager job:

  • Must have Level 4 or equivalent in Adult Social Care
  • Must have knowledge of legislation pertaining to people with disabilities, care leavers, and people living with learning disabilities/mental health issues/physical disabilities.
  • Demonstratable expereince working with vulnerable adults in a fieldwork, residential, day care or youth work background.
