Global Healthcare Jobs, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency looking for an experienced and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to work in London on a full-time basis.
The salary for this permanent Pharmacy Technician job is £32,000 – £34,000 per annum.

Main Duties:
- Maintain and develop high quality, consistent, patient-focused pharmacy services in conjunction with clinical and patient services staff.
- Participate in the efficient day to day running of the dispensary and assisting the lead/senior technician/ Pharmacist when required.
- Prepare labels using the pharmacy computer system and correctly assemble prescriptions, ensuring each item is accurately dispensed and in the correct packaging, according to standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Organise the timely supply of out-of-stock medication to patients, prioritising and delegating this to other pharmacy team members when necessary.
- Counsel patients on the use of their dispensed medications, offering advice and answering any queries.
Requirements of the Pharmacy Technician:
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- NVQ Level 3 (or recognised equivalent) in Pharmaceutical Services (or similar).
- Mandatory CPD to maintain fitness to practice.
- Experience of working in a busy dispensary department.
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience.
