Pay Rates:

  • Weekdays £34.00 p/h
  • Nights/Saturdays £39.50 p/h
  • Sundays/Bank Holidays £45.00 p/h

Duties:

  • Initial assessments
  • Suicide and self-harm risk assessments
  • Attendance at ACCT reviews
  • Carry and manage a caseload of complex and diverse secondary mental health patients
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate programmes of care to address patients present and changing mental health and wellbeing needs
  • Ensures that a professional service and image is always maintained
  • Deliver evidence-based care to maintain optimal mental wellbeing of the patient
  • Liaise with patients and continually evaluate their level of capacity and consent throughout their care pathways  

Requirements of the Prison RMN/Nurses:

  • Relevant nursing qualification and an active NMC Registration (Mental Health)
  • Must have Prison Clearance and experience working within a prison
