Senior Practitioner – Early Help & Prevention Team

What you will do:
- Lead and manage early help assessments to deliver timely and high-quality services.
- Navigate complex cases, offering bespoke support based on individual family needs.
- Collaborate closely with families to create and implement robust support plans.
- Use evidence-based approaches like the Signs of Safety and trauma-informed methods.
- Ensure all interventions comply with statutory guidelines and safeguarding protocols.
Leadership & Supervision:
- Provide crucial supervision and mentorship to Early Help Practitioners, fostering their professional development.
- Engage in reflective supervision and provide coaching to elevate service delivery quality.
- Work with the Team Manager to monitor performance and instigate improvement strategies.
- Lead the development of practice standards within the Early Help & Prevention service.
Safeguarding & Risk Management:
- Actively identify and address safeguarding concerns in line with established procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure children and families receive timely support.
- Liaise with statutory services for cases requiring social care intervention where necessary.
