Global Healthcare Jobs, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Service Manager to work full time based in Tonbridge.
The salary for this permanent role is £36,000 per annum.
Main Duties:
- Work in line with relevant safeguarding legislation, guidance and good practice to create safe and enabling environments where staff and the people we support feel confident that they will be heard and responded to
- Work with the people we support, their families and Multi-disciplinary Teams
- Provide better health care and reduce health inequalities
- Recognise and support all health, well-being and social concerns
- Provide strategies and use the tools in place to manage and evidence good health outcomes
- Create a culture that views risk positively to empower the people we support and their social networks to work together to achieve their goals
- Demonstrate effective practice leadership to ensure a positive and open culture where continuous improvement is evident
- Be an effective leader and identify development requirements for self and team
- Ensure the Service Leadership team are empowered to manage the service with the Service Manager and in their absence
- Effectively monitor and address staff performance and behaviour that falls below the organisation’s standards in line with policies and procedures
Requirements of this job:
- Level 5 Diploma: Leadership and Management or equivalent
- Effective leadership and management
- Knowledge of sector regulatory bodies and their standards
- Knowledge of sector relevant legislation
- Experience of working with people disadvantaged through illness and disability
