Global Healthcare Jobs, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Services Reablement Occupational Therapist to take on a new ongoing contract role. Duties will include: working with service users in the community for up to six weeks on a rehabilitation programme, supported by in house reablement officers (ROs) who deliver reabling care under the direction of OT, with the aim to prevent, reduce or delay development of long term care needs.

Location: Tower Hamlets, London. Some remote working, expectation to complete risk assessed home visits as required and to be office based two days/week. 

Contract Type: Ongoing contract

Social Services Reablement Occupational Therapist Pay Rate: £35.45 per hour (assignment rate)

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday working with flexi time.

Requirements of the Social Services Reablement Occupational Therapist:

  • Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • Recent experience within social services / local authority / council
  • Registered with the HCPC
  • Experience of case work and physical rehab in busy environment essential
  • Band 6 level/equivalent – not suitable for newly qualified or band 5 level
  • Experience as qualified OT
  • Need to be London based to manage any urgent events with case load
