Social Work Advanced Practitioner – Locality Team

Location: Heywood. Although this role is predominantly office based, there will be opportunity for Hybrid / Home Working as per the needs of the Heywood Locality.

Pay Rates: £36 per hour (assignment rate)

Contract: Locum, 3-Months

Requirements of the Advanced Practitioners:

• Degree or equivalent in social work
• Current Social Work England registration
• Experienced advanced practitioners with recent experience of working within statutory Adult Care Services, which is an excellent opportunity open to Qualified Social Workers with experience of line managing a core group of staff, with an ability to support and develop Social Work Practice
• Have extensive knowledge and experience of risk management within care management and have an excellent knowledge of practice and working within a locality team
• People who are able to commit to working from Heywood, although there will be opportunity for home working, in the 1st 6 weeks or so, it will be office based to get to know systems and staff
• Have experience and competence of completing assessments under the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act and undertaking S42 Safeguarding Enquiries
• Have previous social work management experience within Adult Care sector
