The salary for this permanent Social Worker job is £31,822 per annum

Main Duties:

• Provide high-quality, community-based advice and support services to former mineworkers and their dependents facing health issues, disability, financial, or emotional difficulties
• Deliver individual and group-based support within client homes and community venues
• Manage a caseload and assist the Senior Social Worker in various tasks, including case allocation, staff induction, training, and service promotion
• Collaborate with partner agencies to ensure an integrated, holistic approach to client care
• Contribute to the development of new services and support activities

Requirements of this job:

• Social Work Degree or equivalent (DipSW, CQSW, CSS)
• Social Work England (SWE) Registration
• Knowledge of UK legislation relevant to children and families
• Experience of working with children, young people, and their families
• Provide high-quality, community-based advice and support services to former mineworkers and their dependents facing health issues, disability, financial, or emotional difficulties
