Pay Rate: £21 – £27 per hour (assignment rate)

Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist/SLT:

• Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration
• Recent post qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist
• Experience of community services and working in the NHS and has mainstream school/or pre school/special school
• Experience of SLCN and neurodiverse client group as well as CYP with complex needs
• Experience and implementation of a range of SLT assessments and interventions and MDT working

Duties:

• Assessment of new referrals to the service (children and young people aged 0-19 years with SLCN)
• Identification of needs and development of treatment plans for a range of needs
• Speech and Language therapy interventions
• SLT reviews
• Completion of onward referrals as required
• Completion of reports
• Education Health and Care plan assessment and advice reports
