What you will do:
– Oversee a team of 4 Social Workers and 1.5 Restorative Practitioners, ensuring effective teamwork and quality service delivery.
– Quality assure court work, making sure that individual children receive the right care plan.
– Encourage a curious mind, child-focused practice, and relational approach within the team.
– Track timescales, maintaining a high support and high challenge working environment, and efficiently meet Court deadlines.
– Ensure smooth transitions with the Family Help and Children in Care and Beyond teams to support the child’s journey towards achieving permanence.
– Work closely with the Service Manager in the Corporate Parenting Service to provide leadership and guidance.
– Spend at least 2 days per week in the office to offer direct support to colleagues and facilitate effective communication.
