Global Healthcare Jobs, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Registered Nurse to work in 75 bed residential care home based in Orpington.

The salary for this permanent job is up to £42,290 – £44,290p.a plus £2000 ‘Golden Hello’ payment 

37.5 Hours per week.

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents in accordance with their individual care plans. You will work closely with the care team to provide a safe and supportive environment for our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Administering medication and treatments to residents in accordance with their care plan and medical instructions
  • Observing and reporting any changes in the health or wellbeing of residents
  • Developing and updating care plans in consultation with the care team and other healthcare professionals
  • Providing emotional and psychological support to residents and their families
  • Liaising with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists
  • Ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date and accurate
  • Participating in staff training and development activities

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with valid NMC PIN
  • Previous experience working in a care home or similar setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of current healthcare practices and procedures
  • Flexible approach to work
