Job Description
Global Healthcare Jobs, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 5 Staff Nurse to work in Alderney on a full-time basis.
The salary for this permanent Staff Nurse job is £36,899 – £47,590 per annum.
Duties:
- Assist in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating programmes of care for patients / clients in a defined caseload
- Assist with the management of the caseload
- Provide high quality patient care
- Assist in the supervision, deployment and teaching of staff and student nurses, acting as a mentor, preceptor / supervisor
- Work in the clients / patients’ homes without direct supervision
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team within an integrated care model
Requirements of the Staff Nurse:
- Be familiar with organisational objectives, policies and procedures related to the work area and the implications this may have for their practice
- Practising as a nurse or midwife are required to have effective registration with the (UK) Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Be proactive and cooperative in the appraisal and confirmer processes
- Registered Nurse
- Teaching / mentoring qualification
- Community experience
- Driving licence
