We are looking for a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist in Oncology and Haematology to join our dynamic team in the buzzing heart of London Bridge Hospital, Private Care at Guys Central London. What you will do:

  • Participate in the delivery, management, and development of a high-quality, proactive, cost-effective, safe, and responsive patient-centric systemic anti-cancer (SACT) pharmacy service at London Bridge Hospital: Private Care at Guys.
  • Collaborate closely with and, at times, deputise for the Lead Pharmacist for Oncology and Haematology.
  • Work as part of our multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients can safely access the latest treatments in oncology and haematology.
  • Deliver a clinical pharmacy service to wards, applying your knowledge and experience to enhance patient treatment plans.
  • Engage with the Aseptic Production Unit and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in pharmacy practices and patient safety standards.

What you’ll bring:

  • MPharm or equivalent is essential for applicants.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) is required.
  • A postgraduate diploma or master’s in clinical pharmacy is desirable, complementing your experience.
  • Proven experience in delivering a clinical pharmacy service to wards is essential, especially post-registration.
  • Previous experience working in Oncology is crucial for this role.
  • Practical experience in an Aseptic Production Unit and understanding of GMP is a necessity.
  • Familiarity with Mosaiq, BD Cato, and Meditech is desirable and adds value.
